Can our original blueprint in DNA be erased?

Many clones living among us

This is a good question, one that I had not thought of until now. My friend made a statement and said "if humans evolved from the monkey how come the monkeys are still here?
I took this line from wikipedia......A change in the genetic material of a population of organisms through successive generations...

What caused the change is my question???...Genetic Modification?.
..
Does that mean if someone in the family has blond hair that no other family member has. Would their DNA have changed??... and so the next generations create blond hair as the dominate colour??..The question is can the original blueprint be erased from your DNA??..

I say yes thats why they can feed us any theory that fits our logic  because when the DNA is modified it interferes with the memory and effectively wipe it clean and a replacement is inserted with new instructions bit like a genetically modified fruit, It now grows at a faster rate with resistance because the code has been modified, it no longer takes orders from the original blueprint, it now has a new master..

Another question are there other ways to modify or alter our DNA without the use of test tubes and microscopes and if our DNA is altered is it permanent???
